The only thing I know about the two is that they both give live births and the dolphin will bang his nose into the side of a shark to make it leave the territory. So, To me their relationship is more like mortal enemies. I hope this helps your project.

different than they swim interior the water and the two have eyeballs, there is not any huge-unfold hyperlink between sharks and dolphins. human beings are unquestionably closer to dolphins than sharks are! even although there's a relationship between the dolphins and killer whales (orca). they are unquestionably a dolphin. maximum folk (i in my opinion did a survey) i did no longer discover one person who knew that the killer whale became unquestionably from the dolphin kinfolk! A shark is a fish and a dolphin is a mammal. Dolphins can carry their breath for as much as eight minutes. while they leap out of the water, they are able to work out as much as 5 miles! and that they are able to work out issues decrease than the sand on the backside of the sea! they are extraordinarily cool critters huh? I discovered all dat on the OmniMax theater some 12 months in the past.

Sharks are a much older marine animal than dolphins. Dolphins are mammals (give bitrth to live young, have mamary glands). Sharks, however, are condrichites (my spelling may be off), meaning that they have no actual bones, only cartillage (the softer cushion stuff in your joints). I remember this from my 300 level geology course in college "Life on Earth".

Dolphins and sharks do not get along. Dolphins will drive sharks away if they are nearby.
