I would.

Most people don't even know who Russ Feingold is, beyond the fact that he was trying to get a measure passed to get the troops home early. Personally, I think he knew that it wasn't going to work, but it DID get them to start thinking of other ways to get the troops home.

Before saying "hell no", I would look up the things that he's done that no one has heard of. He's been a politician in this state since as long as I can remember.

Edited to add: Just because I like Feingold does not, I repeat, DOES NOT mean that I would vote for Kerry. I think he's a spineless weasel who should be in bed with Gore. Personal Opinion. Not all Republicans are alike, not all Dems are alike. I don't vote a party ticket. I vote for the people that I agree with the most regardless of whether they are Rep, Dem, black, white, pink with purple polka dots, etc. Please don't tell other people what they think. Just because Feingold is on the same 'ticket' as Kerry, doesn't mean that he's a lying idiot too.

Feingold is the candidate that I would most support. He is one of the very very few who have actually stood up for what's right. He vote against the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq and he was the lone senator to vote no on the Anti-US patriot act. When I hear him speak it makes me proud that he is my Senator. And as for the person who called Feingold a coward I would suggest that you take time time to find out what kind of a man Feingold is before you run your ignorant mouth off. If Congress had more with Representatives like Russ Feingold maybe I could feel pride in my country again.

I like Russ Feingold a lot. He's more honest and committed to his beliefs than any other person that serves this country in Congress.

But - if he runs in the Democratic primary, I would think twice about voting for him, because it is doubtful he could win.

Odds are, Republicans are going to end up with a moderate (if they can convince the far right to shut up for a few years), and we will have to have a moderate to counter or we will be stuck with continued Republican rule (albeit more tolerable than what we have now...)

I would vote for him if he became the Democratic candidate (I would have to see who the other Democratic candidates would be before I would say I would support him in the primaries). He is one of the few Democratic Senators who has the guts to stand up for what is right (an example being that he was the only Senator who voted against the PATRIOT act , citing that it would infringe upon civil liberties).

I love how everyone who said no, gave no specific reason for not voting for him. On the other hand people who said that they would will vote for him give specific reasons. Wonder which side is more accurate and factual.
