Can someone please recommend some good products for an at home facial? I'm in the mood for some pampering today, but most salons are closed...or it's too late for an appt...

I'm 26, and I have combination skin, that can break out sometimes, but isn't too bad right now. My skin is pretty sensitive too, many products irritate my skin.

I just what that "bright" look you get after a facial....

I'm going shopping near an Ultra today....anything in there I can buy?

i cant tell you what to use but i can tell you how to do a kick *** facial massage once you find the product! first you start right at the brow, rubbing with medium pressure towards your temple upon getting to you temple add more pressure. do this in lines and work your way up to you hair line. then start at the bridge of your nose and follow around the definition of the bone of your eye socket, stopping at the lower end of your eye socket.do this again but going lower each time below the socketonce a t the bottom of your nose, place your fingers under the ridge of your cheek bone(about half an inch on each side below the nose) then proceed to rub in an ub and down motion along the ridge, stopping when you feel yourself reach another boney ridge. clench your teeth and feel the muscle on either side bulge, this is your masseter start massageing slowly then working a little deeper.strat working up along the side of your face and when you get to your ears, place one finger along each side of your ear and massage up and down. work your way back up to the temples and then massage there. if you feel a lump comming from the area of your hair line start lightly rubbing back and forth over it then slowley wrking deeper. that is a facial massage.

I have the same type skin and twice a week I steam my face it is free and simple.

Get a large bowl (that can take boiling water) boil your kettle and fill bowl only 1/4 full. Do not add anything to the water, allow it to settle and wash your face with your normal wash a gentle one is best. Dry your face, then hold your head over the water bowl allowing the steam to open your pores (come up for air when you need to) do not be too close to the water and cover your head with a towel for best results.

While you face is hot, clean your face again with a gentle scrub. Use wet cotton wool, putting the scrub on the cotton wool and in small circular motions gently scrub your face. Rinse off with warm water and steam again. Rinse your face with cold water and this will close your pores again and tone your skin - no need for toner! Apply your moisturiser and you are done.

Due to the hot and cold used in this facial your skin is deeply cleaned, stimulated, oxygenated and buffed so you look more radiant with a nice healthy glow. The good thing is that you can do this as often as you like and use what you have to hand.

Ran out of hair conditioner, use the cold water thing on your hair after you have washed it. It makes the hair shafts lay down flat on each other and thus easier to comb, this also gives a really nice shine to it too.
Try it!

Open your pores with splashing on the face to open your pores
First of all put on some olive oil. Put a hot wash cloth over your face. Keep warming up the washcloth ocassionally. After five or ten minutes, wash your face with Dove Soap or any gentle soap.
Take some mayonize and half an avacado and mix and put on face for 10 minutes. Take a hot wash cloth and place on face for a short time. Then circular motions give your face a massage.
After a few minutes place a clean hot wash cloth on your face.
Use the other half of the lemon and without pealing it, wipe it across your face. Do this for a couple of minutes. Again use hot wach colth on face (you can use the mircowave to heat it)
If you have a mild soap wash your face with it. Get some very cold water and splash on your face.
I hope it feels good.
Next squeeze a lemon into a small bowl, If you have epsoms salt put a table spoon of that in the lemon juice. Other wise use regular salt. Mix and if you want, warm it in the microwave.

i do this for a living. so just keep it simple...get a good cleanser first and if you can make some steam, let it hit your face while you cleanse...rinse and cleanse again...then use a good gentle scrub product to get dead skin cells off and open pores and bring up oil and dirt...this is what give you that bright look, getting off the dead skin and debris...then after rinsing it off, use a good mask, just something with clay in it for oily skin to soak it up and leave it on till dry....then take a hot towel, not too hot! and hold on your face till it dissolves the mask and start removing it with the warm towel and some water...usually you get a light massage with a facial, but with your sensitive skin, it would probably cause it to break out..too much action with the other stuff you have done, so just use a good moisturizer for your skin type, oil free and see how you glow...ask the peeps at Ulta to help you with the right type product for your skin....

Make sure you wash your face with sensitive soap. Then buy a product called Apricot Scrub. It is used as a a soap, but if you use it as a mask for about 10-15 mins. your face will be really smooth. I did it and it kinda itched but ignore because the ends justify the means.

I have a great at home mask/scrub to try, just mix water with baking soda (arm and hammer) it works sooooooooooo great, leaves your skin sooooo soft, it also is great in a bath or mixed with shampoo once a week to get all the gunk build-up out of your hair. i have really sensitive skin and this works great!!

Honestly? Clean kitty litter and some water make an excellent mask. I myself have used it. I know it sounds weird but it works.
