Very much so. Pool tile is frostproof, which means it doesn't absorb water. This is accomplished by firing at an extremely high temperature. The result is a very dense clay body, very hard.

I've been installing tile in Texas for over six years and to let you know there isn't any difference in the tile itself, besides size, color, pattern or ceramic porcielain or natural stones, it's the different kind of thinset you use to install the tile that matters. Good luck.

NO ! u can use any tlie in a pool, it must be impervious to water,easy to clean!
