Making money--I can't say earning a living--is harder than ever its true. More competition from people who don't really care if they only make a buck or two vs. those who actually DO make their living.
You have to have something completely UNIQUE to sell---have the ONLY one of its kind, and sell as many as possible as quickly as possible because odds are someone else will find the same item and undercut your prices and your buyers are gone.
The only ones who are making money NOW through eBay are those who give HUGE seminars and then sell their software to you for hundreds of dollars.
This make I've made $26.15....It should have been about $65.00
People want deals...
I'm off to teach a seminar...LOL

There probably are...but as mentioned the wave has gone. The only one making money on eBay is eBay. And scammers. I've ordered an item never delivered and the seller won't do a refund, send it (claims it was returned), eBay will do nothing about it even though it violates their policies. That policy by the way removed a stuffed (TOY) schnauzer for "selling live animals" - I've never seen a stuffed toy bark and run around but apparently eBay has!
I've listed a lot of things on ebay - books, collectibles, useful things etc. With over $45 in fees (at a dime to a quarter per listing you can do the math as to how many items I'm meaning!) NOTHING sold. Including Disney items which have been said to be popular.
I'd skip ebay and find another way. much cheaper.

Ebay is over ran, over stocked and just going down the tubes.
The days to make big money on ebay are over, we missed the boat.
Its now Flea-Bay by the way.
