Hello,

Is this any good?

I've wrote it about what I think about the world today, can you tell me about what you think and If I can improve it?

In the middle of making tabs for guitar as I speak, this song will be fast paced rock, with a upbeat tempo

Thanks!!

DOOMSDAY

Countdown ticks to zero
This world is in dire need of a hero
Terrorist dreams of having fun
The end of the world has just begun

Armageddon is nigh now is the time you will die
Bombs away is the call confusion and death to all
The final countdown has begun
Where will it end
Where will it stop
Is this world set in for rot

Eternal darkness
Or eternal light
Either way I'm not ready for the fight
Press the panic button get out at once
Family and friends are who you should be near
Full of apprehension and filling up with tears

time is running... yeaaahhh out!!
Doomdsay has come!!

(This material is copyrighted as my own, so no copying THANKS!!

LOOOOOOOLLLLLLL!!

People I'm actually very happy with my life, so there's no need for prozac!!

I feel when you right a song you can explore other angles of life outwith you as a person, hence my "CHANGING" to pessimistic mood for this song...

Thanks, again!!

It sounds a little like a cross between FINAL COUNTDOWN and the theme to XENA WARRIOR PRINCESS.

Look man, unless you are a folk singer, the words of songs today are rather obscure...it's all about "catch phrases" AND the music.
Black Eyes Peas proved that with My Lovely Lady Humps.

Words without the music is just a poem.
And this as a poem is certainly a Prozac moment.
But as a writer......KEEP WRITING....it is the only way you will succeed.
Good luck.

Doesn't sound bad..But, it does sound like something either in the Christian Rock genre or Goth. I know, they are pretty different, but you asked! I think I would have to actually hear how it is supposed to be sung and the musical layout first;)

Best of luck in your music career.

Oh..And what kinds of places do you perform at? I'm in Livermore, Ca and always looking for good music that doesn't sound like everyone else out there:)

All in all it sounds like a pretty good song. Not bad lyrics at all. If I was you I would change a couple things though like the Chorus "time is runnign out...yeaaahhh out" but it's your song.

I like it, i think it's abit depressing, but in the good way(does that make sense?!) What I mean is it's like the Muse song, Times running out,it's about a dark topic, but I can imagine it being addictive. Well done you :)

I'd listen to it .. it wouldn't be one I would look for unless it had a really rippin guitar to accomidate, and it would have to be played loud, but be understandable...I'm not into speed metal or a mostly screaming lyrics.. but I would say.. yeah I'd listen to it... give me a heads up when your all put together.. love to hear new stuff as soon as it hits the airwaves.

I wouldn't want it if it was free, too much doom and gloom around, won't make the charts, need love story type lyrics very recently james blunt made it with you're beautiful and everyone said he is too doom and gloom, but look at the lyrics that was in it, see what I mean, it needs to be uplifting and happy, not a funeral march.
sorry but that is just my opinion.
good luck with it, I think you'll need it

Well, your the song writer not me. LOL but if you put 'Today is the time when you will die'? Nigh and Now beside each other may not sound rite. Other than that it's good. Bit short, but I like it and it is 'DEEP' LOL

i like some of it , but some parts sound pretty grim , like theres just no hope, maybe if u could think in a more positive way i would like it better , too many songs r made like yours , never a positive solution, how about something like peace on earth is on the way

It's going to depend a lot on the arrangement and the band.

I think it's jammin' , but I think it could use some more words.
