I guarantee if you eat lots of dairy, sweets, bread and fried foods and not be active, you will gain weight. ALOT means more than you already do. Example: Eat an entire Big Mac, super size fries (ALL) and large milk shake. That's just for lunch or dinner. You have to eat 3 meals like this daily. This is the unhealthy way and I do not recommend because you will devlop other heath issues.

The healthy way GUARANTEED is to eat 3 healthy meals daily, save you biggest meal for dinner, eat after 5 p.m. and when you exercise, DON'T do aerobics, DO weight lift. Aerobic exercise burns fat and keeps you slim, while weight lifting also burns fat it builds muscle which weighs more than fat. Stay away from aerobic activity, trust me. If you are SERIOUS about gaining weight, it won't happen if you have aerobics in your life. WEIGHTS is the way to go. Start off with 5 lbs for arms and 20 for legs and work your way up 5 pounds every 1-2 weeks. Do this for at least 3 months, 4-5 times a week and watch the healthy weight come on.

I could never put weight on. I'm fifty now and I started gaining weight finally....I have boobs now lol
If you're healthy then it's your metabolism...and sometimes nothing other than having babies and getting older will do it. Even after having two kids I went back to 104 lbs. so believe me I do know how you feel, just be sure to eat three square a day and do lots of snacking and don't burn up your calories with over exercising or stress. The doctor told me my nerves burnt up my calories as soon as they entered my body, so stay calm.
There used to be a thing called Weight On...it didn't work for me, but you may be different.

If you are looking to gain weight I would have to suggest doing it in a healthy way. For general weight gain increase on some starches (rice, pasta, breads) and some of the non-green vegetables. You may want to get some lean muscle mass as that will help burn any fat that you take in and will also require that you take in more calories to support them. Simple crunches and modified push-ups (on your knees instead of toes) will help that without too much work. Swimming is also a great full-body workout that will use nearly all of your muscle groups to help your body remain looking proportional. Just do slow, relaxed laps to keep your heartrate down out of the fat-burning zone.
Hope this helps!! Good luck. :)

Depending on your metabolism if your hyper or hypo that does make a difference. To gain weight ideally and healthy is to gain muscle.. ! gram protein per pound of body weight is needed to maintain muscle to bulk up and body sculpt 2 grams so eat more protein lift weights and be fit but you will be heavier.. If your a guy you would get those rips and cuts if your a female you wont get those as the genetic makeup in women are different so you would be heavier with muscle and yet toned nicely.. healthy eat tuna chicken breasts and turkey salmon most highest protein with 2 carbs per meal.. and graze thru the day its better to eat breakfast with egg omelette's with cheese.. bagels.. then a mid am snack then lunch 1 protein and 2 carbs,, then mid afternoon snack then dinner then afte dinner snack. the body is a constant feeding machine and your probably using all your resources for energy and this is why your maintaining wight skimpily. You need to fuel it thru out the day. don't forget to work out to bulk up those muscles to add the weight. you can be thin but weight a lot still with muscle. fat is not good weight.. so try bagels instead of white bread or pastries.. choose beef jerky to snack on not chips.. walk ride a bike hike work out and watch your self grow to a viking fit being.

Lifting heavy weights for fewer repetitions and eating lots of protien will help you gain muscle weight, which is healthier than fat weight.

Eating lots of foods high in carbohydrates (pasta, breads, rice, etc.) will help you gain fat weight.

Muscle is heavier than fat.
