or vice versa.
would it be painful because it is unknown to you and you don't know how to deal with it?

I have a physical pain in my ankles that I've lived with all of my life. I was born with club feet, my feet were turn inward facing eachother and when i was a baby they straighten them by breaking the ankle and streaching the tendon. Anyhow, I have no idea what a normal ankle feels like let alone a good one. so I was wonder if you think it is the same for emotional pain or not? could pleasure be defined as lesser degrees of pain?

The unknown hurts more especially 'cause you don't know whats causing it and how to deal with it.

But its a rather new challenge which a few are faced with.

I'm physically ill, doctors can't diagnose cause its something they haven't read in books,, all they have is assumptions which have led to a lot of unneccesary surgeries which did not resolve the problem.

My Illness has caused emotional pain, cause people don't understand what you're going through yet they so quick to judge / make negative remarks or statements but I'm not mad at them rather feel misunderstood.

Its really not simple because there cure is unknown

People are generally adaptable. If physical or emotional pleasure were previously unknown, it would probably be a surprise, even a shock. At that time the brain would attempt to adapt tot teh new sensation. It might take the form of merely a lack of teh regular pain, but could evolve into a genuine acceptance of the pleasurable sensation.

I would get used to it. I adapt well. Some pain would be fun, some pain would be nice where other would be annoying and frustrating, nausiating, to the point of suicidal tendencies. Though, I could get passed it. It is pretty much the world now for all of us. Some adapt well with the pressures, mental and physical wear and tear of today's society and others can't stand it, try to make it better, end it... become suicidal. Whatever is dished out, I, we can survive. By the way, I don't mind pain.

I guess it depends on the kind of person, the experimenting ones or the shelled ones. An experimenting type would definitely go for it and comparing it to the pain he's been used to would be able to define it and enjoy it...or not. The shelled type i guess would just take a look at it and then go back to what he's been used to.

If you lived with nothing but physical, or emotional pain, pleasure would still be a sensation felt, even if you had no idea what that sensation may be.. OR vice versa.
