At two weeks, female guppies will start showing the customary dark gravid spot above their anus, you can also tell at an early age by taking a close look at them after a good feed. Males will have a larger 'chest' area and females will have more weight around their belly.

Male guppies have gonopodium, a small penis, situated among the two pelvic fins. Female guppies don't have this, but they have an anal zone fin and a black spot on their anal zone, known as the gravid spot. When the female guppy becomes fertilized, this dark area will enlarge and darken. Males are usually smaller and thinner than females, males are about 2 cm, females are 3 cm. The female guppy's body is drab brown to grey in colour, but female can have colourful tailfin, too. The male guppies' body is more colourful and they also have a more colourful and larger tailfin, than females'.
You can notice a difference when they are about 2 weeks, because before they are so tiny.

I can start to tell around the 2 to 3 week mark and can always tell the female first. They are usually still the same color, either grey or a pale yellow but the females will start showing their gravid spot. Once I can see it I remove them so they don't get pregnant. Some males can show that early but I usually can't tell until around a month but if by that time they don't have a gravid spot then they are most likely males.

The female guppy is drab brown to grey in colour. The somewhat smaller male naturally has a colourful caudal fin (tailfin), showing wide variety in the wild, depending on where the stock comes from. These colourful variations have been considerably enhanced in shape and colour by selective breeding.
Females 3 centimetres long, males 2 centimetres long

Here it is put simply.
The males more colourfull and girls get fat/bigger. Gender is vissable about 2-3 weeks after birth (almost time for them to make babies too) But the easiest thing to notice as mentioned before is the black spot arount the *** of the fmales.
I breed guppies and dont worry if you dont notice it at first. Youll get the nack for it eventually

First of all to tell if they are males, they have pretty coloring and long tails. Also, the males have a gonopodium which is a long straight fin near it's anus. The females should be grayish and should have a triangular shaped fin near its anus. But sometimes even the females are really colorful!
