Definetely an own goal! Crespo shouldnt get the credit. So now he have scored 3 goals and maybe he can be the top scorer. I dont want him to be the top scorer by getting a 'bonus' goal

Anybody in the same position would sell that as their own in that moment..their honest opinion would be reserved for family and fans only...but we all saw that it was "own goal" by Borgetti's head...it may have tipped off of Crespo's leg which it DIDN'T look like..but replays aren't perfect..so I am sure that Crespo believes he did it...and it IS possible...just not probable..

100% sure Crespo scored , on the camera angle that the German TV gave seems as if Borgetti scores with his head but from other angles you can see that Crespo scores with the point of his boot. If you have doubts enter www.lanacion.com.ar where there is photographic evidence. Moreover if the FIFA considered it was his goal I think they should be right.

It looked like an own goal on the replays, But Crespo seemed quite confident when it went in?
But he is from argentina, so you cant rely on them being honest about how a goal was scored (1986?????????????????)
Own goal.

It was actually Borgetti if you look really close in the replay, but Crespo was given the goal. It jus depends on how you wanna look at it. I'd rather look at it that way. Very good game yesterday. Last goal by Maxi by far the best goal of the World Cup thus far.

They both touched the ball; Crespo says he touched it after Borgetti (and videos all show different things from different angles), and even if Borgetti gave the ball it's direction, Crespo is gonna get credit because he touched it. The ball would have gone in, with or without Borgetti's head there. :D

On the scoresheet, he got it. But it's actually an own goal by Mexico (I believe they didn't change it because of all those bets!)

He got the credit. I am not sure even in the replay though. I thought it was at least a foul ball because mexican player was using his head and Crespo used his leg too high.
