I believe one must tell the other there is love within the relationship. Without the vebal acknowledgement of what the relationship is based upon then perhaps the other person can, and should, assume the relationship is merely convenience.

one could assume that u love each other b/c u chose to live together. however, u both need to say-put it out there in the universe. hopefully you really do love each other, b/c it should have been spoken by now.

don't assume that he knows you love him and you shouldn't assume that he loves you.
It needs to be said and you both need to mean it.
