We have just moved here and live with my parents. We all need our space, so I really need to get out with the kids on a very tight budget. However, the weather is soooo hot, and my kids just arent used to it. Thanks for any help!

Kids are 6 and 3 boy and girl. I would rather not use my parents to much for babysitters and want something for me and the kids....I am disabled

Believe it or not, Las vegas has a shuttle service which has discounts for handicapped persons. You might try going to the park, as well as visiting the airport. I know it sounds lame, but kids get a kick out of watching airplanes taking off and landing. You can even make a picnic out of it, and go over by the trees on the outside of the airport, and watch them, while keeping the kids in the grass and shade. Also, there are county museums which have pictures of Las vegas from back in the beginning, which you may find interesting, and it's free of charge. Good luck, and have fun!!

there is alot to see and do in vegas,but the "strip" is really no place for kids. children aren't allowed to be in the casinos. But i must add the hotels are really cool to look at. how old are the kids? I think there is a water park along the strip. Nothing is cheap anymore. get a sprinkler and hook it up to a hose. or get lots of water guns. that is what i do with my 3 boys. sometimes you just need to be creative. Join the YMCA it has been a life saver for us.

sounds interesting. Too bad I live so far away from las vegas or I would offer to take you and your children out on my diime and with my 2 daughters. and yes I am single also but living in my own house in a much cooler environment then las vegas.
