My son is 15, I have joint custody, but he wants to live with me full-time. I heard at 13 or 14 the child has the right to choose the parent they want to live with in Florida. Is this true?

I don't think a child has any legal rights until they're 16 in most States. Yes, a judge may want to hear the opinion of a 13/14 year old and take that opinion into consideration, but until 16 and judge and the parents have control.

To double check, go to your yellow pages and find a family law attorney offering a free 1/2 consultation, and then you'll know for sure for Fl.

Yep, I think it's 13, but yep he can choose now. Just contact the family courts and find out what you have to do. Best wishes
