I was a strange child who had the entire Grimm's collection - my favourite story was the girl with silver hands. Her father made a deal with the devil, she had to be filthy so the devil could snatch her, but her tears kept washing her hands so dear old dad chopped them off - then nobody wanted her so she got thrown out, wandered into a prince's garden and he fell in love and got her some silver hands.

You'd think that would be the happily ever after, right? But the story kept going, including some murders and other lovely things. :) Fairy tales that haven't been edited for content are great!

Snow White is mine too. She's just amazing with her black hair, ivory skin and rose red lips.
I also really like the whole Peter Pan line up too. Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily, the Mermaids...it's just plain badass.

I always liked Sleeping Beauty, because she was just so beautiful. She lived with the sweet little fairies, and played with all the critters in the forest. Her prince was by far the bravest, Millicent was evil. ;)

Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. She gets to go on strange, wonderful adventures but always comes home, in the end.
