Physically it sounds like you should have a normal recovery time. After triplets however, I would never have sex again. :)

The normal recommendation is 6 weeks. I have found from experience this is because most people wait for their doctor's ok at the 6 week checkup before having sex again.
If you're not having postpartum bleeding, cramping, and your stitches (if you've had an episitiomy or c-section) have healed, it's ok to have sex. Just remember to take it easy - and remind him to still be gentle. If you have sex too early with any or all of these symptoms, you will run a higher risk of having a uterine infection. As you had more than one child, your healing time may increase, and may be longer than 6 weeks.
I've had a few children, and this is what I've always been told (for 13 years). Just remember to use protection - I know quite a few too many people who went to their 6 week checkup to find out that they were pregnant again.
Before making any decisions on your own, I highly suggest to ask your doctor. You don't need to wait for your 6 week checkup to call.

Normally you should wait at least 6 weeks before having sex again. Even if the pregnancy was normal. Your body need to heal especially if you had triplets. Every pregnancy is different, and who knows your body better than you. Whats the hurry, enjoy your babies and try to relax. Some people do wait longer to resume normal sexual activity, But doctors do recommend people to wait 6 weeks.

Well your doctor will tell you to wait 6-8 weeks. After having triplets I don't think you will have time for sex. I would wait at least 6-8 weeks. I waited about 10 weeks after my first child who is now 15 because I had stitches and the birth was painful. After my second child who is 10 I waited 6 weeks but I was ready after 4 weeks but was afraid of becoming pregnant too soon. But with three little babies to care for I would just relax and try to get used to changing three bottoms, feeding three mouths, and dressing three bodies. Good Luck!

The normal wait time is 6 weeks. When you go for your 6 week check up the doctor will let you know if everything is okay and when it will be ok for you to have sex again.

You said you were 15 in another question. Wait until YOU ARE AN ADULT!!!! You just had 3 kids, you shouldn't even be thinking about sex!!!!!

when my wife gave birth to our first child my uncle joked about when is best to resume our sex life. he said two months wait is long enough. so i waited for two months. on that night, me and my wife had sex and she didn't say anything but after we did it, she said it did hurt a little so we waited 2 weeks again and the rest is pure pleasure.

Congrats! I have twins. I would wait the customary 6 weeks, and then get right back to it. You won't be getting much recreation for awhile and you should take what you can get as soon as possible!

When my wife had our children the doctor said six weeks but I would consult you gyno or obstetrician first. there may be reasons you have to wait longer.

I'd say around 5 months. But to prevent over-population, be sure you and your man protect yourselves with condums and birth control, etc.
