The shooting pains down there went away, but today when I woke up and went to the bathroom it burned pretty bad! And after I'm done it kinda feels like I have to go more, and it kindof burns/itches down there! Does anybody know what this could be?

I'm not able to see a doctor for probably about 8 hours. Should that affect anything either?

sorry, you have a Urinary tract infection!!!!!! drink lots of cranberry juice and water.. lay off sweets, and try to keep yourself clean until you can see your doctor for some antibiotics!!!! its the only way to get rid of this nasty beast!!! dont ignore it, it will NOT go away. if you ignore it, it could possibly move up into your kidneys and that would be VERY BAD.!! call your doctor.
PS.. ive asked my doctor about cran juice, it is good. the chemicals in the cranberry help fight infection. NUMEROUS PAST EXPERIENCES.

Urinary tract infection.

The doctor or emergency room should prescribe you two pills, one that makes your pee bright yellow but relieves the pain and burning, and an antibiotic to kill the bug. I thought cranberry juice may help start killing the bug - but not according to the answer above - so don't start on the cranberry juice. If you are into natural remedies, and have a health food store close by that's open today, get either cranberry capsules or Golden Seal Root capsules. Ask if you can take both at the same time (I don't know).

Search Yahoo!Answers for urinary tract infection, to get tips on how to prevent it in the future, because even though you may get over it now, sometime you will get it again (like a cold).

I am 100% sure you have a urinary tract infection. I've dealt with that myself. Drink cranberry juice and tons and tons of water. If it doesn't stop burning/itching, you have to see a doctor and get antibiotics.

A bad infection. See a doctor ASAP, or you risk permanent damage to "down there", including sterility and possibly worse. SEE A DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY.

sounds like a UTI....see a doctor before it gets worse. Whatever you do, do NOT start drinking cranberry juice now to get rid of the problem. My docotr told me by doing this, it can make the UTI/bladder infection worse.

It could be a really really bad bladder infection. Go to the doctor!

it sounds like a UTI. they are pretty simple to diagnose and treat by any doctor. treatment involves antibiotics and if it is really painful they will usually give you something for that too.
