No way, it just seems wrong. Its bad enough to get one base for a pitch that grazes a uniform, or a guy walking because he stands at the plate with his knees touching his chest. Too much cheap crap in sports today, lets not make it any easier, especially in baseball, the pitching "talent pool" is in sad shape as it is, dont make it any harder for them.

No I don't agree with that, but I think that awarding 2 bases for a batter being intentionally hit after both benches have been warned would be a great way to cut down on the head-hunting and retaliation pitches that are vogue again in MLB.

ummm, no. wait, i've got a better idea....lets give a batter 2 bases if he hits a really hard single.....or give 'em a homer if their triple hits the outfield wall, or call a strike on any pitch 95 mph or above, even if the pitch is 2 feet outside. jeez, there are really some true morons on here!

Lets just make it a run, and stop suspending pitchers and managers. I think that's fair.

Not really.......that's part of the game.......

Umpires should be able to "tell" if a hit was intentional or not. It could happen........either way.
