With cell phones you are typically charged for incoming and outgoing calls..unless you have an unlimited plan...so the party calling should show up on your cell phone bill.

I have a T-mobile phone and whenever i make a call or recieve it it shows up on my bill the number and the city/ county it originated from but never the name. for instance, a 305 area code number would have miami. and also how long the call was.

Cingular gives you the numbers you call but incoming calls have only the date, time and the words "incoming call". The number itself isn't identified.
