I know how to erase regular history but I want to know how to erase where no one can find history...period. Some sites that should not have been visited on here have been and I want to get it all off. Thank you for any help you may give me.

You need a disk shredding utility. Shred all the files in the Temporary Internet Files folders. This will overwrite the exsisting files with 0's and 1's to actually erase the data. Then open the registry using regedit. Open: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs"

Write OVER the URL's you want to eliminate (this is better than deleting them). You might need to backup the registry first, modify it then if successful, wipe the backup file.

Delete the cookies. Which you could just do a find on your computer for the cookie folder. Open the folder and delete them all.

I'm not sure if there are other places where this info is stored, but I just know the history and the cookies.

if you are using internet explorer go to tools-internet options-temporary internet files/history and start hitting those buttons. also if you are worried about this changes settings so you minimise the about of disk space set aside for caching. If you want to really cover your tracks download a utility that erases internet files permanently
