If you have ever met a star you would know.Entertaining Is kinda like why certain people throw better tupperware parties.Think about a party you went to and there was someone there that made the night.What was it.Usually it is someone who has energy.Remember,You don't have to be talented or funny to entertain or perform.Some people can just walk on stage and the crowd goes nut's.They don't have to do anything.Yes,Confidence is one.BELIVING your good.Look at william hung-We were entertained by it as bad as it was.

depends what kind of entertaining you're doing...

timing helps comics, as does being funny obviously,
a good voice and quite often a decent look helps singers,
A skill in your area of entertainment...magic for magicians, sense of humour, that kind of thing...but I think personality is key because if people can warm to you then you've got it made!

Talent, shamelessness and marketing. Without either you will not succeed in the harsh business of 2006. You need an agent or advisor to tell you how to fill in the shamelessness, which are your talents... and to set the first marketing steps.

to be a good entertainer you must have a good variety of music if you are becoming a disc jockey and a good sense of humour
