has anyone stayed at the Tryp Apolo hotel in Baecelona? if so can i expect a good stay there ?

The TRYP hotel chain is of excellent quality. I have never stayed in the one in Barcelona. But they are a good bet in general
The chain is Sol Melia - Tryp.
The Apolo is on the Avenida del Paralelo. near everything you'll be interested in seeing. Montjuic, the Barri Gothic, Las Ramblas, etc..

There is another chain of hotels with a nice one in Barcelona:

this one is Hotel Senator Barcelona, a block from the football stadium, just off the Avenida Diagonal.
Have a nice stay...Barcelona is a beautiful city.
