why do people only answer the new questions and not the older ones?

some people just do not want to go back and look at older questions I guess. new ones are easier to see. lol.

People just want to answer as soon as the question is asked to have a better chance at getting 10 pts. Sometimes, I'll go back and look in a particular category, like Comics or Movies, but sometimes, I just like helping a broad range of people, hence, why I look at the newest asked questions for a mix of topics.

After I answer a question, I jump right back to "all categories" and the newest questions are there. After awhile, I'll pick a category I like and scan the older questions in it. If someone has 50 answers, I figure they have enough.

They're lazy.

It's easier to answer the questions that show up on the first page than to go hunting down deep for the older ones.

Also, the first answer often gets the most votes. Again, because of laziness.

Because when you look at the question someone has usually already given the same answer that you were planning to.

because u don't give answer of older ones.that's why everyone do not give answers of old Question.

if it is your problem simple mam , we need not blame the people so, you just repeat the question once again it will become new and you will get your thing done ,or put it in some other category that will also do

The newer questions are more noticeable and catches their eye while the old ones sit in the back .LOL.
