I would suggest checking out at least three different books from the library, and combing the knowledge you get from them. The internet has too many trashy sites for tarot. A good tarot deck can be quite expensive...I suggest a deck that is a beginners deck with the meanings printed on each card.

My mother was a reader Katie was her name. There are certain rules about tarots. You can't buy your own cards. They must be a gift. You can not read for yourself. Check at a new age book section to find out more.

try googling it. but the most popular way to learn is being taught by someone or books. my mother, was a tarot card reader, and she learned through books
