I have Bell's Palsy. It was described to me as a facial stroke. Not a lot is known about this disease.they are not even sure what causes it.It may be caused by a viral infection, stress,or it may be environmental. Those are the 3 definitions I was given. When being treated,i was put on a strong anti-depressant,a viral medication(valtrex)and an antibiotic.I have had several episodes of Bell's Palsy. But these do help lessen the symptoms. As far as problems with your cycle,I'm really not sure.(I've had a hysterectomy),but because of the different things I've been through it actually makes sense to me.I'm wondering now if it might have something to do with hormones.i plan to talk to my doc about it next visit.Best wishes!♥

Bells' Palsy is when a facial nerve is affected. Is can go away in time. I do not believe that there is any connection between Bell's Palsy and menstrual cycle problems, Ask your doctor to be sure!

Bells`s palsy is a "infranuclear". facial palsy. It is caused by inflammation at the base of cranium involving facial nerve. The entire face is paralysed (including eye lids). It does not cause any problem of menstrual cycle.
