I lived in Manchester for 2yrs 6mnths. It's an area which is a bit laid back when compared to other British areas(cities). People there prefer to live in a professional way. Night life is absolutely cool, vibrant, but not as vibrant as in other cities. It's a city you don't normally see on headlines, no stabbings, no terror, or any type of serious crimes, just good living. In terms of diversity the larger percentage is of course Whites, and then Asians. Blacks and other ethnic groups are a minority.
