they're both women and at this point have pretty much kicked me to the curb. My best friend says I'm jealous of the 16 yo. Truth be told. I don't like her because she b/c she
thinks she's all that. she's not. So now, my best friend does the things with her that she used to do with me. I just it's flat wrong. I'm 37 years old.

the 16 year can find other friends to hang out with but chooses not b/c she can't relate to them on the other hand, my best also acts like child herself and isn't very mature for her age. I truly thinks she REALLY needs to GROW up. what do you think? Am I wrong?

I would tell my best friend the short comings and what he/she should aware about hanging with neighbor who's 16. I would not say it's wrong or right. But I would give him/her some advices and at the end, he/she has to make the final decision of it. We are just friends and we can't exactly know what is the condition in each other.

if theyre your best friend you should know them pretty well. First of all look at whats lacking in his/ her life. Maybe it could be something a 16 year old can relate to. Secondly, maybe the 16 yo just wants a companion. I would suggest you try talk to her. Ask her about his/her interest in younger people. good luck

View this as suspicious and one wrong move from them and you'll have the cops all over them.

Leave them to it - whatever you say/do will be wrong and your friend - if she REALLY is your friend - will come to you.
