Sometimes it helps to keep some crackers on hand. There really isn't anything you can do about the morning sickness. It doesn't last the whole pregnancy. Is that what you needed to know?

Morning sickness is the nausea and vomiting experienced during pregnancy, particularly in the first trimester. Although it is called morning sickness, it can and usually does occur at any time of the day or night.
Morning sickness is characterized by extreme nausea and vomiting. It varies widely in intensity; some women experience only minor stomach upset for a very brief time period, while others become so ill that they have difficulty keeping food and fluids down and functioning normally. In the majority of women, morning sickness symptoms subside toward the end of the first trimester (at 12–14 weeks). However, some women continue to experience nausea well into the second trimester, and some mothers of multiples (twins, triplets, etc.) may have morning sickness throughout their pregnancy.

Morning sickness is likely due to your body using up much of the blood sugar in your bloodstream, overnight, for your regular purposes, plus your baby's. It takes about 3 months for your body to realize this, and regulate it so your blood sugar does not go so low during the night.
The advice that I gave a co-worker worked for her, and got her more restful sleep too. Before going to bed eat a snack that contains an egg, or some low fat meat like chicken, or other protein if you are a vegetarian, and a bit of carbohydrate. While half an apple would be ideal, a cracker or a single cookie would be ok. Also if you have peanuts or almonds on hand (and are not allergic) eat them up. They are protein and good fat. Don't forget to have a glass of water to help this snack digest.
You may find you have less morning sickness the next morning.

All I can do is tell ya what worked for me. Every morning before I would get out of bed my husband would get me a few slices of orange and a few saltine crackers. I would mainly suck the juice from the oranges and nibble on the crackers and that seemed to settle my stomach. Didn't work all the time, but it made a considerable differance. Hope this helps.

if you are having morning sickness let me first of all say I'm hearing i ended up in hospital. but a few really good things to try are ginger if you like tea cut a small amount of ginger root and add to your tea through out the day (really worked for me) salada's by the bed i found before getting up in the morning if i was to have a small dry cracker and half glass of water i felt much better something to do with soaking up the acid in your stomach other methods are sick sickness wrist bands good luck and try and get lots of rest lol sunshine

Lemons and limes were my best friends during my pregnancies. It helped me to drink water with lemon or lime juice. Also, i carried lem/lime wedges with me and sucked on them when i needed or just took some deep breathes from the baggie they were in and it would calm my tummy down tremendously!
Both times i was nauseated throughout entire pregnancies! Hopefully yours will pass soon. ;)

Sip ginger ale it helps...also weak tea and dry crackers before you get up is good...be kind to yourself eat smaller meals when you can it will pass.....if you cant keep anything down consult a Dr ASAP
