How can you think they are not for real. Friday we put the smack down on st. lois and saturday we tied in the 9th and won it in the 10th.

They are on a mission this year.

If The Tigers play .500 ball the rest of the season they would still win 94 games. That's a wild card for sure.

I still think The White Sox will win the Central...but wouldn't it nice to see The Tigers & The White Sox play for The ALCS?

p.s.:

I am sick of boston this, yankees that.

Face it people, the 2 best teams in MLB right are The White Sox & Tigers.

I forgot to mention that The Tigers have already won 50 games! (first team to do so this year) The last time they had 50 wins in June they won The WORLD Series (1984).

Although I am also a Yankees fan, I have to agree with you for the most part, except I think the Tigers will win division, not the White Sox. The Sox have too many problems, these problems are just starting to manifest themselves, but they will start to fall back behind the Tigers soon. Although I know you don't want to hear it, I think the ALCS will be Tigers vs. Yankees, and I think the Tigers will take it. They're like the Mets this year, they're having fun, not just doing a job. The Tigers are a joy to watch because of it. They'll be going to the World Series, and they'll deserve it. I think the 2 best teams are the Tigers & Mets, and for once the 2 best teams will be in the World Series.

The Tigers will fall apart in the second half of the season and not make the playoffs. White Sox will win that division

I completely agree with every single sentence in this statement, especially your sentiments concerning the Yankees and Red Sox in the p.s.; although i am a huge Cardinals fan and would love to see a rematch of the '68 series.

I think it's finally time for the Cardinals to exact revenge for the 1968 "World" Series in the fall classic this year. It was just wrong to taint Gibson's great season by them beating the Cards in the Series that year. So, I don't just think the Tigers are for real, I think they will face the Cardinals in the Series. Well, if the Cardinals stop losing, I mean.
