You really need to stop using your computer until you have fixed the problem. The virus may destroy everything on your hard drive.

I use Symantec Anti-Virus software. It comes with an emergency boot-up disk you can use to restart your computer with the CD disk as the main drive." Then follow instructions to clean your machine. After that, ALWAYS keep this software (or a competititor's) operating "in background." I bought the software for $49. Sometimes the places you visit to buy it may charge up to about $100. Whatever the price, it's worth it.

Once your machine is in good shape, keep the virus definitions up to date. Occasionally update your "emergency boot up disk" so it helps keep your computer safe if you have another attack.

Good luck!

First, download Ewido. Scan your computer with that. It is the strongest scanner that I know of.

If Ewido finds a trojan then you should reinstall the computer from scratch (delete the hard drive after saving your important files). Once you have bad problems like trojan infestations, you have to reinstall the operating system because it isn't safe anymore.

After you reinstall, follow the instructions on the second link to make your security better the second time around.
