Does any of you master gardners know....is it too late in the season in Indiana to plant Sunflowers....?

You can still plant&grow sunflowers in Indiana all the way till the end of July. We live in south central In. and have done this after summer storms destroyed some of ours one year. It's also nice to have live looking flowers when every body has old dried up ones.

Yeah, too late. But the seedds ar cheap so give it a shot, never know if it will stay wartm late!

Give them full sun thopugh, I mistakenly planted some along a fence, and every evening they would lay down following the sun!!!

Also, watch for squirls, one ate the whol;e flower off, just cut it and ran!

I am not a master gardener But I would think it is.
But give it a try anyway. get the miracle grow for vegtables and house plants and water it with that every seven days.
it might jump start it fast enough to do some good.

Nooo it isn't. I live in Southern Michigan and just planted some. They'll be fine.
