There are two different Eurail passes: Austria/Hungary/Czech Republic/Poland ($172) or Hungary/Slovenia/Croatia ($150).
I want to choose between one of them.

If you choose the cheaper one you will probably regret, Except Hungary there is nothing to see in Croatia and Slovenia. The first choice is deffinitely better since it gives you Hungary, Czech Republic-an amazing country, beautiful Austria and Poland. You will not regret! I can guarantee. Been there, seen that.Trust me!

I recommend the first one, Austria/Hungary/Czech Republic/Poland. All four are very nice countries with a lot of interesting things to see and experience. Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland are pretty cheap too.

Slovenia and Croatia are beautiful too, but much more expensive, so you won't be able to do as much there if money is a factor.

Well, it's up to you. I have been to Czech Republic last month and I had a great time there. I was in Prague, and it is fanthastic! You shouldn't miss visiting it, when you already have an opportunity to do that. Budapest is also fenomenal. I have been on almost the same tour. I had visited Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. I had a great time. But have in mind that Croatia and Slovenia are also beautiful. People are very cool and kind in these two countries, especially if you are a foreigner. But you must be more precise. IF you want to go to the holiday in order to swimm and enjoy in the beauties of Adriatic Sea and Balkan and menthality of people living there, tour you should immediately take is the one with Slovenia and Croatia. BUT if you are going to the holiday in order to vist and sightsee beautiful cities and landscapes of central Europe, enjoy in peace and history during day and enjoy in wild night life during night, the right tour for you is the one with Czech Republic and Poland.
But have in mind, that whatever you choose, you will be pleased, especiually if you are going in a good company. I have been to all of these countries, and believe me you can't loose whatever you choose. Have a good time and maybe decide to come to Serbia next time!
