Each players has his own time. Think what does make a player as the best? Individually all of them are same. When the whole team is performing well, his name goes up to the best. For eg., George Wiya (Spell check ?) from Liberia was one of the best during his time. He was the best footballer of the year in late 90s. Since Liberia wasnt performing well as a team, no one knows him. Case of Batistuta... Argentina didnt have big title during his time. Check Netherlands they are the most unlucky team but with all best players such as Vanbasten, Gullit and Reijkard being in the team at the same time. Zidan - yes he is a good player but not all these last 15 years. In the last world cup he was the best player from the LAST.
