We can see wind. Just not in your typical sense. When your out at the golf course, high atop the tee, you feel it brush against your face and rustle through your close. If you grab a tuft of grass and throw it aloft, you will in essence see the wind. It's direction, it's speed. And have you ever been in a fog bank. When the wind moves, the fog rolls right along with it. Or a smoky bar? Any movement clearly shows the movement of the air filled with smoke. While we can't see the air in a physical sense we can still view it mentally. Perhaps the water vapor from an ice cold glass of tea when your out on a hot day. And finally have you ever seen the weather channel? I see hurricanes, tornadoes and cloud movements to the Jet-stream. And are not all of these all caused by the wind? I don't know if this helps you or even comes close to answering your question. But I've found that nature is always there for the viewing. Sometimes you just have to change your way of viewing it. Good Luck and good question.

You Can't See The Wind Because It Is Just Air Being Pushed Around

The only way I know of to see the movement of the invisible air as it moves in wind is to look at things being moved around by it.
Things like leaves, paper, or things you introduce into the wind such as smoke or bubbles would work.

Wind is made of air. Air is clear, so the wind is clear. But...
did you know that wind is just hard air?

You can't see the wind because air is colorless.
