No... I was taught when I was young to control my anger. My dad filled an army duffle bag with socks and hung it up in the laundry room. When we were mad enough to fly into a rage, it had to be taken out on that duffle bag, not the nose of the person who made us angry. Recently I wanted to hit my husband, but I just TOLD myself I could not and talked to myself inside of my head to calm down. Of course the next day he was my best friend again and I was his. I think anyone can control themselves with the right tools and preparation with a plan of how you're going to react when you're angered. Who is worth you turning into a monster? Nobody.

Well I never punched anyone in the face but I have gotten so mad that I snapped and lost it. The Situation: I caught my then boyfriend, at some skank girls house. I didnt even know he was messing with her. Total shock and utter embarrassment. All my friends kept saying 'oh that's to bad'. So I went up to the door asked for him and he didnt even have anything to say for himself. He broke up with me right there in front of the other girl and her parents too. (they were friends of my mothers) So I smacked him across the face and slammed the door. Once outside I used one of those silver paint Sharpe's to write 'cheater' all over the windows of his truck and flattened his tires. The marker ruined the tint on his windows. I dont know if he ever really got that fixed. Thats how I go my nick-name! Crazypsycho-jenn

Yes I've had that happen. It was my ex husband. One day he punched me right in the face. I didn't even stop to think, I jumped out of that chair and clawed him up with my fingernails. Someway or another he got knocked down on the floor and I jumped on top of him and raked my nails all over his head, chest, arms and shoulders. Before I got off of him I told him my own parents never even hit me like that and he ever hits me again and next time I'll get a gun and shoot him dead. I'm no one's punching bag and whoever told him I would put up with him hitting me lied to him. He never tried to fight me back, he laid there on the floor and screamed like a woman and crawled out of the room on all 4's. I have no regrets, he lost his damn mind thinking he was going to get by with hitting me. He never ever tried that again.

Count to 10 sloooowly and if that doesn't work than take a walk around the block slooowly until you calm down and can act rationally.
