My teddy is called Coojee after Rolf's koala so I thought I would have a go at this question.

My first thoughts were: What about lager? Fosters, XXXX, Castlemaine must all be very large exports (although they are brewed in the UK, the companies are Australian) - and what about uranium and opals?

Looked on the web (forgot to save which one though!), it said:

Though agriculture now only contributes 3% of GDP, the country is comfortably selfsufficient in food and a substantial exporter of wool, sheepskins, cereals, meat and wine. Mining too is now a small sector but it is also an important source of exports. The country is the world’s leading exporter of coal, iron ore and refined lead and among the largest exporters of zinc, gold and lead concentrates. It is the world’s largest producer of both alumina and diamonds and has immense reserves of low-cost uranium. Thus agriculture and mining contribute more than 70% of Australia’s merchandise exports and its main markets for these are Japan, Korea and the other ASEAN countries. Its imports include consumer and capital goods, fuels and chemicals and the largest sources of these are the US and the EU.

Sorry, nowhere do I find entertainment as a large Australian export (not Kylie, Home & Away nor Neighbours) - nor such things as Russell Crowe or Mel Gibson.

Despite quite a bit of research, nowhere do I find Rolf Harris, his two little boys, his didgeridoo or his paintings as a major Australian export!

Very sorry!!!!
