Why do so many people answer even light hearted questions with such deadly serious answers?

might not be so easy to see it's a light hearted question
just in case the person is really asking for help you don't wanna miss the chance of helping someone

Also it's not one sided. Answering helps you keep your thoughts organized and meaningful

All that said this too looks like a deadly serious answer :P

I think we have routine ways of looking at the world. So because the Internet strips the communication down to the mere words people are free to add their own interpretation, So they believe a question or response is serious when it may have been said with tongue in check. Also I think some people could just enjoy the shock value of what they have to say. Good luck!

exciting one....I do like Godzilla. that all and sundry caps call and his humorousness is especially appealing. I additionally admit to liking the what ought to I do retard. he's in order that beautiful. and that i'm a Jim Darwin fan too, of direction (WWJDD!?!). and then there is Markster along with his green hair and smart comments. Gotta like a guy with a concepts and funky hair. Sho-Nuff Eastwood is on my record besides. yet once I have been gay, i might pass with Phoenix and Bettierage. i'm going to wager they're happy i'm no longer gay. LOL

Not to many people have light hearts anymore ! They are to worried about how to prove they are better than everyone else! This is their only power in life! How can anyone take something with the name YAHOO so seriously is way beyond me!
