ASA generally is not recommended during pregnancy by most obstetricians neither is ibuprofen, but if your doctor has recommended it then maybe the benefits of taking it outway the risks. talk to him or her about it.

1st and 2 trimester is OK. Aspirin is generally safe to use in pregnancy with low risks before last trimester of pregnancy.

Third is not because it can delay labor and cause a problem called "premature closing of ductus arteriosus"
