I am leasing to own a vehicle from Burton motors in Kingston,Ontario Canada. I only owe 635$ but yesterday june 24 they came and took my car. They did not put the car in neutral, and therefore sqeeled the tires all they way to the tow yard, and when they took it out of my drivway they smacked the front end, and now there are sings of leakage all over the place. I only owe 260 for the lease settlement, and 375 for repairs they have charged me twice for. I want my car back as it was sold to me for 5400$, and I have paid over 7000$ for so far. What can I do legaly to get it back a.s.a.p?

You only owe 260 for the lease settlement, and 375 for repairs...pay it. Get the car back. Document all the damage and neglect (pictures, timeline, witnesses) and see if you can't sue them for a few grand to offset your losses. The towing opreator is liable for damage to your car and negligence. It should'nt be too hard to get the various estimates that you will need (body and mechanical). Get the towtruck drivers info right away. File a police report.

Suing is not your answer here! I don't know about laws in Canada. I would guess that if your car was towed away that you were late on payments. You may need to call the bank that your loan is through and explain the information to them. DO you have video proof that THEY did the damage? Without it the will believe that you damaged the vehicle. Start moving on you8r complaint now. Don't wait!
