Theo walcott, he recently transferred from southampton to Arsenal, and so impressed manager Arsen Wenger, that he urged Sven to include him in the squad. Sven, being the puppet he is, agreed and enlisted the 17 year old into the squad. He has not played yet and if he does will break records for the youngest player to compete in a World Cup Finals tournament.
However, he is not necessarily the most immature player in the squad, that honour goes to David Beckham, who apparently needs constant motivation and praise to stop him going into huge sulks (after Sven said that if he were to 'not perform' he would be dropped from the team)
Still....this is football and most players in the game today have very limited intelligence.....a game designed by gentlemen and played by hooligans!

Theo Walcott. He hasn't played yet - he hasn't even played in the Premiership!
He should have come on instead of Crouch in the game against Sweden.
I hope Sven at least tries Theo out against Ecuador as the team will be meeting either Holland or Portugal after Ecuador and that's getting serious football!!
But Sven has said he's not even confirming his line-up until late, (Other than putting Rooney as the lone striker up front) so I'm wondering whether he will put Theo on too at the last minute and surprise the media.

Theo Walcott. he hasn't got a chance to even play for Arsenal and won't get a chance to play for England because England will bow out to Ecuador. Then, Sven will realize he has made the biggest mistake by not fielding Theo on the field.

Theo Waldcot is the player, he has just signed for the Arsenal never played for the club and was selected to join the England squad, an error of judgement on Sven's behalf?

Theo Walcott and i think we should be bringing him on. All the other players are well known and their styles of playing are known to other teams so if we can bring Walcott on it may throw the other teams off a little as they don't know what to expect from him.

No he bloody hasn't, he should have come on in the sweden match as there was much less pressure than in the knock outs!
Why take him if hes not gonna play, we could have had defoe or bent, even crippled old teddy sheringham would have been better than a bench warmer!
