I'm not really sure how to ask this question without sounding confusing...I'm having 'menstrual'-like cramps, but my period isn't due for about another 2 weeks. Is this normal? has anyone else experienced this?

Ovulation sometimes brings on similar symptoms, however so do other conditions.

If you are having any other symptoms, you may want to check out the symptoms link at www.hufa.org. If you are having more than a couple, it might be due to a blood sugar imbalance - high or low. Irregardless, knowing how blood sugar works and how to ease imbalances that happen naturally may help ease any other PMS symptoms you have.

It could be coming soon, the best is still seeing a doctor. From my experience if it is really menstrual cramps they will likely give you some medicine to relax your muscle. To reduce PMS, do take enough magnesium. It can reduce stomach cramps, pain, depression and water retention.

you could just be getting ready to start your period early. But if the cramps continue without your period starting, go see a doc.

Are you on BC pills? If you missed 3, you will restart your cycle. If you're not on anything, you could just have irregular periods if you start bleeding. Otherwise, it could just be gas. :D
