ok my friend needs to find where his wife is at so he can file for a divorce he is suposted to get married in november and has had no luck with family and friends for finding her... i got her first last an ss number last i knew she was in another state does that matter? what are some good websites that are free for me to find her address?

yes i should have put this down before.. if you can not get in contact with the wife/ husband you can get a divorce but it takes about a year after they send paper work to the last known addy and its 6 weeks for a reply. i told him to try and find her phone number or address and call her because she just might be trying to find him for a divorce also..
but no luck and i am not paying for him to find her! i am being a friend by helping him because he does not have a computer...
quite frankly i don't really care if he gets the divorce because i really do not like that g/f of his..but he has helped me in the past so i am just returning the favor rather i find her or not.

Are you sure he needs to know the whereabouts to file divorce from her?
If he has no way of contacting him, there have to be some loopholes in the law allowing in divorce without her consent.

Aside from going to the police for info (prob not a good idea, actually; they assume you're either a stalker or other assorted criminal), not MUCH he can do.

i dont know any free websites, but if he is so desperate to find her, why doesnt he pay for it. Try findpeople.com, but you have to pay.
