Jealousy is just a form of insecurity...when you find yourself up against jealousy, whether it's stemming from you or from someone else, try to look and find the source of it...why are you jealous? (or why is that person jealous towards you?) What does this person have that you want? (or vice versa) The only way to overcome jealousy is to discover why it's there in the first place....knowledge is power and once you know, you'll be able to diffuse it better. If someone is showing jealousy towards you, well that's their problem and just ignore it. Some people just can't be happy for other people and think the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. If you are the one who is jealous, re-evaluate your life and find out what you can do to raise your self esteem and self worth and you will rise above it.
Good luck!

Think of the bad times you had with the person when you feel jealous... I know its difficult but you tend to remember only the good when feeling like that. It will take time but rise above it all. If you have problems thinking about the bad times write them down and keep them in your purse/pocket/wallet and take them out and read them whenever you feel the thoughts coming on to remind you why life just isnt that bad without them.
Also do things to take your mind off the person. Go out dancing/clubbing, read a book, swim.....

jealousy stems from not being happy within yourself, so you project resentment to the outside world.
Find peace and happiness with your life and have a purpose. Then you won't worry about what else happens around you and you will be focused on your inner happiness instead :)

If your jealousy is justified then your partner is in the wrong. If you can't bring yourself to leave then just accept it. If not leave.
