That would depend on the person and their circumstances. If you are a confident, outgoing, self-motivated and organized person with with little debt and good health a short term consultancy that pays well would probably be the best option.

If you are not confident, shy, have debt, health problems, not self-motivated or organized or have kids, then the low paying secure job is probably the better option.

One thing to keep in mind in today's day and age, is there is really no such thing as a "secure" job.

I probably woyld go for the low paying job with job security cause maybe one day you can become boss or something like that, with better pay and security.Orif you can try do both.

For some people (me included) self-employment is the only way to go.

Independence; self motivation; sense of control; greater rewards. All are part of the micro business philosophy.

Job security is WAY overrated. Ask some of the thousands who have been "laid off" after years of work and only a short time before their promised retirement.

a low paying secure job is better, because you have the security that the job will always be there and thuse you will always have income.

the secure one unless the better paying one will give you better options and will help you to find another job. or if you could go back to your old job once you finished the better payng one
