Was circumsized at 16 and have always thought that I lost sensitivity. Can this be the case? Have always tried to hold back so that I didn't climax before my female partner. Nothing seems to help and only if I masturbate, does it take a shorter time. But sometimes even that doesn't work. PLEASE - NO JOKERS. This is a serious question. I'm in my late 50's and have nearly always had this problem albeit, it seems to be getting worse. Don't have a high sexual appetite either. Any solutions out there?

Circumcision reduces the sensitivity a great deal and it was culturally inflicted on countless males and now inflicted by mothers who insist that it is cleaner.Uncircumsized males respond faster to precoital play but the length of coitus depends on the person. The sensitivity of the penis seems to shift with circumcision from the head area of the penis to the shaft of the penis so during masturbation placing the hand or fingers further back on the shaft might work, however in coitus, it is difficult to have the pressure on the shaft and with the head of the penis deprived of most of its sensitivity, an orgasm is more difficult to achieve. As one ages, there is a shift of the male psyche from lust (or rut) to sexual satisfaction but without the urgency of younger males. You could try some of the patent jellies or creams to enhance sensitivity. Sexual appetite varies a great deal from three times a day for a man of your age to about once in a fortnight...but this should be determined by your need, not by statistics. Most men over 45 masturbate more frequently than they have actual coitus, but many actually enjoy masturbation more as they can manipulate the more sensitive parts of the penis. Remember that Viagra and other such drugs help in penile dysfunction but will not increase sexual appetite.

There are some non-rx things you can try. I sell two products through Passion Parties that may help you. One is Pure Satisfaction Enhancement Gel, and the other are our Pure Satisfaction Enhancement Pills. Both are Unisex. The gel has an amino acid L-arginine in it to promote sensitivity and make for stronger orgasms. It does not work on all men that have been circumsised as the penis forms calluses like our fingers do after time. The pills, we have consultants that swear by them. They are not "viagra", but instead boost your sex drive.

I have a problem with getting to a climax because of nerve damage caused by surgery. And I have found that some drugs can make me insensitive even more so like antidepresants, nicotine, cough syrup and alcohol.

circumcision is not a factor in this. not sure if you are referring to premature ejaculation or retarded ejaculation. the key is you have no problem while masturbation...that tells me that it's pyschological. your age might be a factor in this...most people sexual appetite decline as they grew older. other factor you should consider is alcohol and smoking. to get your self reenergize try exercise, like walking at least 5 days a week for up to an hour per day....

Try using a creme called Man1 Man Oil. It contains the amino acid, acetyl L carnitine, which increases penile sensitivity. It is completely safe and is used by tons of guys all over the world. It really helps with delayed ejaculation. You can get it online. Good luck!
