england invented all sports.have a large population,are fairly rich and yet everyone beats them,all the time.Why?

I don't think that England is playing bad cricket these days... The reason is that the Lankans are playing way better cricket than England.. In the first two matches, England chased the scores pretty well, even though they lost both the games, and in the 3rd game, 261 against all those aggressive bowlers is not a bad score at all. The way the Lankans chased it is really amazing..England would have won it had it not been with Sri Lanka. It is simply, the Lankans are playing better cricket than England and its pity that England couldn't win atleast one match against SL so far.. I believe that both the teams are equally balanced with players cos' both the teams are playing without a few top players at the moment.. England need a major moral boost I think..

firstly,they didnt invent all sports.
secondly,english are conservative by nature(no offence intended)
thus,explosive hitting comes more naturally to Indians,lankans and even bangladeshis than the britishers.
One day cricket requires explosive hitting,hence there bad performance in one days.
Look Kevin their most aggresive batsman has been brought up in south africa

they arnt bad they are my favourite team after pakistan i like mikel vaughn he is a great player as well as a gr8 captian
