First, don't say "skinny". Say THIN. Skinny is wrong and you is anorexic-looking. Thin is usually natural and/or fit-looking.
Now, if you really must lose 30 pounds for your own health (I hope you're overweight- otherwise 30 lbs may be a bit much), here's what you do:
1. Reduce meal quantities if you're used to eating abundantly.
2. Don't eat between meals.
3. Exercise at LEAST three times per week.
4. No alcohol whatsoever.
5. Eat healthy food such as: rice, pasta, fruits, vegetables, soups, nuts, etc.
6. Drink fresh water plenty (especially in summer! If you're in the northern hemisphere that is...)
And there you go! Good luck!

You need to exercise and burn way more calories than you consume. If you make your goal more realistic it is more likely to happen. Say you want to lose 5 pounds in 2 weeks. Do everything you can to lose that 5 pounds, and when you reach that point, set another goal for yourself. It's all about baby steps. Don't take on too much at a time. Good luck and have a great day!

there is a lot you can do!
first, whenever you can just get up and be active..walk down to deliver a note instead of emailing......you get the idea. in no time you'll be burning a few extra calories here and there...
and here is a secret...the more you exercise the more energy you will have! you will also be happier, exercise is a proven way to fight depression.
when it comes to dieting there is a special rule....eat what you want but only small bits. You want a cookie, fine, but only eat one or get some of those premeasured packets like the nabisco 100 calorie packets.. enjoy what you want but set some limits. I have a rule that when i sit down with the family to eat i only get one helping. figrue out what works best for you and stick with it! somtimes tiny changes have big impact.
oh, and did you know you can exercise while watching tv? look up cosmo or redbook magazine online, they will probably have information!
like i say, tiny changes make an impact. there was a guy who stopped eating fastfood for a year and ended up loosing like 50 pounds! just by stopping his fast food addiction!
hey and when you find you do have time and energy do something fun for exercise..dancing, sports, playing with kids/pets whatever you want as long asyou are active!
It is also important that you love yourself for who you are! you have beauty if it is inside or outside and you need to find out what makes you beautiful!

womens bodies respond best to sercuit training, you do a curcuit whichmeans 1 set for each bodypart starting with the largest and working down to the smallest muscle group. then take a shrt brake and repeat,as your aerobic fitness increases you will be able to do more curcuits.Keep in mind that as you burn fat and build muscle your weight mightnot drop because mucle is dencer than fat and therfor weighs more.Soo ignor the scale and trust the mirror!!and good luck.P.S. Curves is a jym just for women it woul probably be a good place to check out if one is in your area.

unless you became very ill and unable to hold down food at all, you can't lose that much in such a short time and it would be very unhealthy for you...work out and exercise and hold your calories down...multiply your weight by 15 and that is the amount of calories you should eat to stay your weight, anything less and you will lose weight...
