I like it but I think they need to make changes. First off, they need to transfer one NL team to the AL to balance out leagues. Then they need to do what NFL does with interconference, rotate matchups so that you play each division once every three years. And eliminate geographical matchups so every team in a division is playing the same interleague slate. It's not fair if the Marlins and Mets are battling for playoffs that Marlins play six games against Devil Rays every year and Mets have to play six games against Yankees each year.

I enjoy it, I think the World Series stands on its' own, regardless of whether the teams involved play each other beforehand or not. While I do think that rivalries like NYY Vs. NYM, or San Fran Vs. Oakland are more fun, I also enjoy seeing some of the other games. As a New York fan (Yankees first, but I like the Mets, too) I enjoy seeing the Mets have the opportunity to spank Boston, or the Yanks getting a chance to beat Atlanta. Getting to see unusual games like that adds to the fun of the regular season. And like someone else said, it really IS fun to watch the pitchers hit (I hate the DH rule), especially when they laugh their way through their at bats.

It's great. Gives the fans a chance to see other clubs/players. Rotates by division every year. Small amount of games (15) compared to entire season (162).

It makes the All Start game more interesting, now that it determines home field for the World Series. Thus, making the World Series much more interesting, by building some rivalries.

I love it, although the scheduling is wacky right now because of the uneven divisions. The problem won't be fixed until 2 more teams are added to the AL; then each league can have 4 divisions of 4 teams each, or 2 dividions of 8.

It's good to see teams play other teams that they don't play very often, and it's also good to see the AL teams play some REAL baseball when they're in NL parks.

It has it really is intense and occasional factors i guess. i imagine it will be more advantageous if scheduling become extra far. a minimum of like it become before each little thing at the same time as the divisions performed same combatants. i imagine it really is amazingly unfair now. i do not income from the all-superstar sport only because it really is not any interesting anymore. They positioned the abode field on the line and it ruined it for me. you do not ignore that the AL is going to win it extra usually than no longer. because they're an offensive minded league the pitchers are plenty more advantageous. The NL has mind-blowing pitchers besides the undeniable fact that it really is only plenty diverse between both leagues. Why do you imagine the NL communities get spanked in IL play at the same time as they're on the line, the DH. I loved it at the same time as both leagues ultimately got here at the same time in the WS. Now, like you suggested you realize somewhat. yet collectively the rivalries are good for the league and as followers we get to work out gamers we would typically ought to bypass to a diverse city to work out. So all in all i imagine IL play is tremendous. It only desires to be extra honest thus far as scheduling. i do not imagine it extremely taints the all-superstar sport or WS in any respect.

I like it --- it allows for teams to play someone different once in awhile, i.e. the Reds can only play the Astros so many times before it gets old.
Does it cheapen the WS? Not a bit!!! Think of it this way --- in the NFL, AFC teams play NFC teams all the time in the reg. season. It doesn't seem to cheapen the Super Bowl.

I think interleague play completely sucks. American league baseball is so boring and I hate having to suffer through watching it when the mets are on the road.

Its the best. These are the only times where the White Sox can pound the cubs and embarass the NL's Best.

I enjoy it. It gives me the opportunity to see more teams and assess their chances for being competitors in the series. I'm an AL fan, and I also enjoy seeing our pitchers trying to hit.

I dont like it at all. It cheapens The WORLD Series.

But it probably isnt going away.

They should tone it down to just rivals vs rivals

(i.e., cubs vs white sox, yankmes vs. mets, etc etc etc)
