I would depend on the artist and whether or not it is the radio edit edition. "American Pie" by Don Mc Lean album version is over 8 minutes, "Light My Fire" by the Doors is around 7 minutes, but the version by Jose Feliciano is under 4 minutes. "Hey Jude" by the Beatles is around 4 minutes radio edit, but around 7 on the album, but seems like longer with all those repetitious "Na Na Na Na"s with a hey "Hey Jude" "Judy, Judy, Judy, Yow" thrown in.
