England can make an excude because they are without some of their key players like flintoff, Jones and vaughn. But even with them, it'll be a tough job for them to retain the ashes

I deny the fact that England is playing bad cricket with Sri Lankans these days.. Its simply that the Lankans are playing aggressive cricket and don't let England raise their heads..261 is not a bad total at all but SL chased it in just 43 overs with only 2 wickets down.. It is their strength not England's weakness.. Even without a few old players, England still have some good players but they are mentally down now.. If SL go on like this, this is gonna be a white-wash and that will really affect the ashes. They need to win atleast one game to get them selves out of the blue..

England play Australia for the ashes so on that score the sri lanka game is irrelevant
