Theatrical dance is dance that you do on a stage to entertain the audience. It is many different types of dances, and, often, it is used to tell a story, like in a ballet.

In ballroom dancing theater arts is a style which involves a dance which has been choreographed to a specific piece of music. The dancers do many lifts and drops (not literally...LOL). It is amazing to watch really good theater arts dancers. Some of the lifts/drops can be quite dangerous if not performed correctly.
